Ichiro Tamura Bought These For Us

No one will believe that the above picture is from my first grade times at Hazard elementary school in Santa Ana.  I was still a rascal.

Leaving California at Her Expense, but I paid her back in full.

That's my mother at the LA Int'l airport in April, 1989.  George Stapchuk Jr. took the picture.  It was kind of a farewell.

Basketball in Kami Igata, Nobeoka

This was taken in front of that "added-on shack" of the Kami Igata house.  That shack was supposed to fall right after we bought the house in 1994.  But, it hung in there. We left in late 2007.  Some termites were trying to spoil its day, but they left with the moisture after the rain.  I even took a picture of some icicles coming from this shack.  Funny, I don't remember it being cold in that house in Kami Igata Cho, Nobeoka.  But, I can't forget the continuing, smokey days from all of the neighbor's burning of trash.
